BSIDEFM...

BSideFM was a low power, FM radio station broadcasting from Boon Street, Whakatane. We played alternative music and aimed to have over 55 minutes of music an hour - which we sucessfully did, all while turning a profit. We broadcasted on 88.3 MHz and could be received within the Whakatane township.

BSideFM was staffed part-time by enthusiastic volunteers who produced music shows catering to their own tastes and interests. When live shows were not on air, a "robot" took over, playing a mix of different genres.
